Making mistakes and other things leading to arguments

We’ve had a bumpy few days, us and the kid. It’s been a disciplinary nightmare where we’ve had to stick to our guns a few times despite tears and more tears and such. It’s also been an enlightening few days, where the kid has allowed some insight into her lines of thinking or, sometimes, lack thereof. First came this nugget of a spiel, which occurred when she informed me that a classmate had called her a crybaby.
